Color Sorta
BBC Technologies advanced color sorter is designed to sort small product, including blueberries, cranberries, cherries, nuts, olives and mussels at high speeds (up to 265 lb/120 kg per minute).
Using color sensor technology, the machine works similar to the human eye in that it identifies all the same colors and their different shadings. This capability enables the machine to sort across the full color spectrum.
Features:
 |
User Interface:
The user interface has been designed with simplicity
in mind. Color sorting parameters are easily set
using a color chart on the touch screen monitor. |
 |
Modular construction:
The machine has been designed using modular construction
principles. This allows ease of access to all parts
and fast replacements of damaged parts. The compact
design enables the machine to simply be wheeled
from one location or application to another. |
 |
Cleaning:
The machine is built in stainless steel with particular
care taken in design and construction to ensure
the machine can be cleaned easily. To assist with
cleaning, an air operated ram opens the machine
up like a clamshell for easy access to all external
surfaces of the machine. |
 |
Safety precautions:
Great care and consideration has been taken in the safety of the machine. Guards
are in place over gears, safety stops are provided in case of emergency and
power overload protection is provided with a power conditioner and circuit
breakers. |
